A friend of mine is going down to chesterfield this weekend. Is there anywhere automotive-related you would recommend going?

If he's willing to travel to the Rock Hill area (maybe a 20 minute drive) there's a Cars and Coffee on Saturday morning. 9616 Manchester Road. Show starts at 8am and ends around 10. I'll be there.

Don't live in Chesterfield anymore, but I grew up there. I believe there's a Lamborghini dealership near there. Could go for a test drive?
